Which should I choose?

VersiFlex for maximum flexibility, SubliJet UHD for sublimation, ChromaBlast for light cotton, and EasySubli for cotton and dark fabrics.

VersiFlex™ is Sawgrass’s all-in-one ink and transfer system designed to print on cotton, polyester, blends, and hard surfaces from a single SG500 or SG1000 printer. When used with VersiFlex transfer paper, it eliminates the need to switch ink systems, making it ideal for creators producing a wide variety of products.

Estimating the total number of prints that you can get from a set of ink cartridges is difficult as this number greatly varies depending on the size of the printed image as well as its color and saturation. This is also not considering the standard daily maintenance that the printer will perform.

Keep in mind that we have three different sizes of ink cartridges:

• Starter 20ml (Both SG500 and SG1000) are included in Install Kit with all new printers
• Standard 31ml (Both SG500 and SG1000)
• Extended 70ml (for use with SG1000 printer only.

We recommend you to use our SUBLIMAX paper, which was tested and certified by Sawgrass.

INSTANT DRY- our SUBLIMAX paper comes out of the Sawgrass printer COMPLETELY DRY! This means no smudging, no bleeding, and you don't have to wait for the paper to dry.

Important Considerations for Ink Switching:

No. Switching between SubliJet, Versiflex, EasySubli, and ChromaBlast inks is not advisable. Doing so will void your Sawgrass printer warranty and necessitate a complete ink flush, which can lead to wastage of significant ink amounts—costing you several hundred dollars each time. Instead, it's often more cost-effective to invest in a separate printer dedicated to each specific ink type.

Sawgrass takes great care to ensure that our products are as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible.
